We get lots of calls about gutter repairs and there’s no simple answer as it is based on a case by case situation. Some gutters are simply beyond repair and it’s just not worth us trying to “rig it”. If we aren’t able to warranty the repair we will typically bow out or give you a quote for a proper replacement. With a repair request we typically ask the homeowner to text over a few pics of the problem area so we can assess it and see what the best solution might be. With our super full days, we prefer to handle those over the phone to save time for all involved.
If the damage is small and your gutters are relatively new, repair is usually the cheaper and smarter choice. If you’re dealing with multiple issues or old gutters, replacement might save you money (and headaches) in the long run.
